Peter Hennessy, Co-President email
Peter is a second-year MBA completing a dual degree (International Policy/Energy) at Johns Hopkins SAIS.  Previously on the Markets Desk of the New York Fed, he hopes to continue to explore capital markets in the energy world.  After his first year at SAIS, Peter worked in project finance for UPC Wind, a Madison Dearborn/DE Shaw portfolio company, raising capital for wind farms around the country.  During the summer of 2008 he will work with Citi Alternative Investments in Sustainable Development Investments focusing on alternatives and efficiency in energy, and water.  He holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College, and at Wharton is part of the Leadership Fellows program.  He enjoys backcountry skiing and being on his bike.


Travis Windholz, Co-President email
Travis is a second-year MBA student majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management.  Prior to Wharton, Travis was Vice President of Fairway Capital, a mezzanine fund based in Houston, Texas that provides subordinated debt to middle market companies. Prior to joining Fairway Capital, Travis worked for El Paso Corporation where he appraised prospective LNG projects, structured and priced derivatives embedded in gas contracts, and developed financial structuring alternatives. This summer, Travis will be working for Akeida Capital Management, a hedge fund that focuses on trading carbon emissions.  Travis graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a degree in Finance, and he is a CFA Charterholder.


Michel Di Capua, EVP Conference Chair email
Michel is a second-year MBA majoring in Finance. Before Wharton, Michel worked as a consultant for Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, focusing on strategy and revenue generation projects in the wireless industry. He has also worked as a freelance journalist and spent a summer working for Cambridge Energy Research Associates. This summer, Michel will be working on renewable energy strategy for Tata Power in India.  Michel has an undergraduate degree in Physics from Harvard University and a masters degree in English Literature from Columbia University. He enjoys writing, bicycling, and waterskiing.

Yuko is a second-year MBA majoring in Entrepreneurial and Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Yuko worked as a project manager at Mitsubishi Corporation responsible for the various infrastructure projects including the carbon strategy development. She will be in London this summer working for the carbon finance team of Climate Change Capital Ltd, an investment banking group specializing in emission reduction projects. Yuko holds a Bachelorís degree in Economics from Doshisha University in Japan and Tuebingen University in Germany. She enjoys travelling, trekking and cooking.


Robert Hosea, EVP Sponsorship & Treasury email
Robert is a second-year student pursuing a Wharton MBA and MA in International Studies at The Lauder Institute. Prior to Wharton, Robert enjoyed four years in Washington, D.C. where he studied and advised senior policymakers on information security and critical infrastructure protection issues as an analyst in the U.S. Intelligence Community. He returns to Washington this summer to work as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. Robert holds a bachelorís degree in Computer Science and French Studies from Duke University.


James Bentley, Marketing & Communication email
James Bentley is a second-year MBA from Boston, Massachusetts. James is a 2003 graduate of Rice University where he majored in Mathematical Economics. Prior to Wharton, James worked as a consultant for Lukens Energy Group, a management consulting firm in Houston, Texas serving the oil & gas and utility sectors owned by Black & Veatch Corp. James interned in the Energy & Power group at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in Houston and New York City.


Raimundo Martinez, EVP Alumni & Industry Relations email
Raimundo is a second-year MBA student majoring in Multinational Management and Strategic Management. He spent the last five years managing the IT Asset Management operations for the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in Anchorage, Alaska. Raimundo studied in Alternative Sources of Energy and worked as a research associated for the Italian Nuclear Agency (ENEA). He completed studies in International Business and International Trade at the University of California as well as Civil Engineer degree from the IUPFAN in Venezuela. This summer Raimundo will be enjoying the outdoors while climbing in the Tetons, WY.
